Bearings · Diagnose · Ten business days

Find the leak. Then decide what to fix.

The Bearings Report is a ten-business-day diagnostic of the process that hurts most in your business. Bobby, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with 30 years running operations, maps how the work actually flows, audits what you pay for software, and ranks the fixes by hours and dollars. The fix may be process, technology, marketing, or AI. About one in six reports says: do nothing yet.

// Quick answer

The Bearings Report is a paid operations diagnostic from Compass AI Group, delivered in ten business days. Bobby Atwal, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, maps the workflow that hurts most, audits your stack and software spend, ranks three to five opportunities with hours and dollars attached, writes a 90-day plan, and records a walkthrough. The recommended fix may be a process change, a tool, a website, an ad account, or an AI workflow. About one in six reports says do nothing yet. Scope and price are set on a free 30-minute Bearings call.

// What you walk away with

A written report. Ranked decisions.

Not a pitch for a build. A measured read on where the hours and dollars go, and what to fix first, written so anyone on your team can act on it.

01

Process map of the workflow that hurts most

How the work actually flows today: inputs, hand-offs, decision points, and where the hours go. Mapped with your team, not assumed.

02

Stack and software-spend audit

Every tool you pay for, what it costs, what it is used for, and what is duplicated or idle.

03

Three to five ranked opportunities

Each with hours saved, dollars attached, effort, and risk. The fix may be process, technology, marketing, or AI. Sometimes it is do nothing yet.

04

A 90-day plan

What to do first, what depends on what, and what you can do yourself without us.

05

A recorded walkthrough

Bobby walks you through the report on a call, recorded so your partner or accountant can watch it later.

// Ten business days. No mystery.

Day 0 to delivered. Then you decide.

Fixed timeline. You see the milestones up front.

Day 0

Kickoff call

60 minutes. Scope what to look at, set up access to tools and a few people to talk to.

Days 1-5

Discovery

Process mapping, two to three short interviews, software and data review. Quiet week on your side.

Days 6-10

Synthesis and delivery

Bobby drafts, checks the numbers, and delivers the report with the recorded walkthrough.

After

You decide

The report is yours. Build with us, build with someone else, or do nothing yet. All three happen.

// Is this the right call for you?

Honest fit signals. Both directions.

Who gets real value from the report, and who should skip it and book the call instead.

// Good fit
  • You run a Canadian business of roughly 5 to 50 people
  • Something is costing hours or money every week and you are not sure which fix comes first
  • You are comparing vendors and want one neutral read before you sign anything
  • You want a written document you can hand to a partner or your accountant
// Not a fit
  • You already know exactly what to build and only need hands
  • You need it in three days
  • You are pre-revenue and want strategy debate rather than a look at a running operation
// How it starts

Bearings first. Then the fix.

Every service on this site starts the same way, so you never pay for a build before the problem is measured.

01

A free 30-minute Bearings call

Two operators talking about your business. Where the time goes, what it costs, and whether this service is even the right fix.

02

Charting: a fixed scope in writing

Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline before any work starts. If a Bearings Report should come first, we say so.

03

Heading: build with weekly reviews

You see the work every week. True North measures the result against the baseline we recorded at the start.

// One example
Law firm

Where the ten days usually go in a 13-lawyer firm

Intake arrives by phone and email, gets typed into three systems, and the partner learns about the conflict check on day four. The map shows which hand-off costs the most. The report ranks whether the fix is a form, a workflow, or a receptionist that books the consult and runs the conflict check on the first call.

// Proof

What changed for real businesses.

Bearings questions, answered plainly.

What does the Bearings Report deliver?

A written report and a recorded walkthrough, delivered in ten business days. Inside: a process map of the workflow that hurts most, a stack and software-spend audit, three to five ranked opportunities with hours and dollars attached, and a 90-day plan. Written so your business partner or accountant can read it without an interpreter.

Is the Bearings Report different from the free Bearings call?

Yes. The free 30-minute call is a conversation to decide whether paid work makes sense. The Bearings Report is the paid diagnostic: real process mapping, real numbers, ranked fixes. The call is the front door. The report is the first structured step you can take without committing to a build.

What if the report says AI is not the answer?

Then it says so plainly. About one in six Bearings Reports says do nothing yet, or fix the process first. Sometimes the answer is a better process, not AI at all. Better to learn that from a ten-day diagnostic than three months into a build.

Does the report fee credit toward a build?

Yes. The full Bearings Report fee credits toward any fixed-scope engagement signed within 90 days of delivery. There is no pressure to move forward; the credit just removes the friction when it fits.

Who sees my information?

Bobby, under a mutual NDA signed before kickoff. Documents you share live in a Canadian-residency workspace and are never used to train a public model. The report is yours to show anyone, including other vendors.

// The low-risk first step

Ten business days of structured work. One clear next decision.

If you already know what you want built, book the free call and skip the report. If you want a measured read of your own operation with ranked options and the numbers behind them, the report is the front door.
